Thompson River Tributary

This tributary of the Clark's Fork provides good fishing for Rainbows and Cutthroats with a few Browns in the mix as well.

Rivers Bend Golf Course

The River's Bend Golf Course is your ticket to a wonderful and relaxing time. The beautiful Clark Fork River is the backdrop for our rustic log clubhouse.

Thompson Falls Dam

The Thompson Falls Dam has been in operation since 1915, constructed along the Clark Fork River at the original falls.  It can best be viewed from the PPL island park, which includes a picnic area, viewing site and walking/biking trails on the island, leading to the recently restored historic High Bridge.

Thompson Falls is a friendly town nestled in a quiet valley along the beautiful Clark Fork River.

Millions of acres of national forest offer recreational possibilities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, camping and hunting. Winter provides backcountry skiing and snowmobiling. Sightseeing adventures include old growth timber, wildflowers, waterfalls, mountain lakes, creeks, rivers and wildlife such as deer, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, bears and many varieties of birds.

Hunting and Fishing

Western Montana is treasured hunting ground for both big game and fowl. Treks into the wilderness for deer and elk are particularly popular, with more exotic wild game a lure for others.

If your interests are more of the skyward variety, there are ample opportunities to hunt pheasants, ducks, geese, and grouse in the area.

Outsiders will be pleasantly surprised at the length of Montana’s hunting seasons for various types of game.
